Stimulus – The Happy Social Network – Surpasses $100,000 In Giveaways

Stimulus, the happy social network from the co-founder and CEO of Sticker Mule, has surpassed $100,000 in cash giveaways to Stimulus verified users since the network launched in June 2022. The giveaways were offered in $500 increments throughout the summer and users enter the giveaways by “restimming” (liking, commenting or sharing) a post. The $100,000 milestone is one step in the goal to give away $1 million during the launch of the paradigm-changing social network.

“People need money to live, and brands need users to engage with their content in order to grow their online audience. Stimulus solves both of those necessities by offering users a way to earn money for the time they already spend online while generating more authentic engagement from users,” says Anthony Constantino, the founder of Stimulus. Constantino is also the co-founder and CEO of Sticker Mule. “Lots of brands already run giveaways on existing networks, but there is no way to know if they’re legitimate. Stimulus fixes this massive problem and was designed to spread generosity.”

Constantino founded Stimulus to counteract the negativity that pervades existing social media platforms.

“Go onto Twitter’s Trending Topics page for a few minutes and see how much hatred is being spewed in viral tweets. Facebook is an endless stream of ads that captures your private information. How are you supposed to find what your friends and family are up to or feel safe online?” says Constantino.

Stimulus user @yukonk9 said in a recent post, “Try going on Twitter for 10 min and back here for 10 min, there’s a weird feeling between engaging with bots and actual humans. Stimulus feels (the) closest thing to meeting actual people….”

It’s definitely happier & real over here. I like that. I need that. I check in on Twitter & get bogged down by the politics and angst. I have to run away after a short time, to save my sanity. Click to Tweet

Stimulus requires user verification through government-issued IDs to eliminate bots. The recent soft launch of Stimulus has seen more than 10,000 people join the network as verified users with over 30,000 non-verified users.

Stimulus user @algrippone said in a recent post, “I have verified accounts on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter… I must admit, getting #verified on #stimulus was by far the most painless!” U.S. residents interested in happy social media can sign up on the stimulus website, get verified, and join the party today.

Brands with profiles on Stimulus are required to offer giveaways to participate on the platform. Twitter advertisers spend $4.5 billion per year on promoted tweets (enough to send $500 checks to nine million people), while companies spend $50.3 billion annually on advertisements. Stimulus disrupts traditional social media advertising by redistributing ad dollars to individual users, hence the name Stimulus.

Contributor accounts that may run giveaways are still being tested. Stimulus is acceptinga limited number of early contributors who commit to give away a minimum of $25,000 over 6 months.

Stimulus is headquartered in Amsterdam, N.Y. and remains in beta testing, with a full launch predicted sometime in the near future.
