“The study reveals the growing importance and value of digital analysts to their organization,” said Marilee Yorchak, DAA executive director. “Compensation reflects the growing profession and the data shows the differences in pay by gender to be moderate with men earning more in upper level roles and women making more in the mid-level positions.”

The report provides in-depth analysis regarding compensation trends for professionals involved in every level of the digital analytics industry as well as the impact of gender on careers. This study was developed in direct response to the industry’s need for compensation and benefit information. In addition to the rich content the results of this survey provide, digital analytics professionals will see a direct alignment of the primary job roles listed in the survey and those referenced in the Digital Analyst Job Descriptions.

“At DAA, we strive to continually provide our members with a wide variety of resources and tools that help them advance the use of data to understand and improve the digital world.” Yorchak pointed out. “The compensation study and the digital analyst job descriptions are great resources that will allow digital analytics professionals to evaluate their current career situation and think about where they want to be in the next five to 10 years.”
